ALL-AMERICAN BEEF STEW

ALL-AMERICAN BEEF STEW

Ingredients

2 pounds boneless beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 package Lawry'® Beef Stew Spices & Seasonings

3 cups water

1 pound new potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces

1 can (15-1/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained

1 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

Directions

1. In large bowl, toss beef with flour. In 4-quart saucepot, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown beef in two batches; drain, if desired.

 

2. In same saucepot, bring beef, Lawry's® Beef Stew Spices & Seasonings and water to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 1 hour.

 

3. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
