LAWRY'S® SICILIAN LASAGNA WITH BASIL & OREGANO

LAWRY'S® SICILIAN LASAGNA WITH BASIL & OREGANO

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

1 package (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

1 pound ground beef

1 package Lawry's® Sicilian Lasagna with Basil & Oregano

1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes

3/4 cup water

9 uncooked lasagna noodles

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix ricotta cheese, 1 1/2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Set aside.

2. Brown ground beef in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat. Stir in Seasoning Mix, tomatoes and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute, stirring occasionally.

3. Spread about 1 1/2 cups of the sauce on bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish. Cover with 3 lasagna noodles and 1/2 of the cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining noodles and sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil.

4. Bake 45 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 15 minutes longer or until noodles are tender. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
